Our Story

Getz Collins and Associates began in Strathmore in 1984, when D. John Getz opened a practice grounded in a simple idea: that small-town service and serious legal capability are not mutually exclusive. For four decades, the firm has been a steady presence in the Strathmore community and across the surrounding region.

In 2018, the firm welcomed Randi K. Collins, who was born and raised in the Strathmore area and now serves as Managing Lawyer. Her arrival deepened the firm’s community roots and extended its reach into Calgary, where the firm now maintains a downtown office alongside its long-standing Strathmore practice.

Today, Getz Collins and Associates is a full-service firm that pairs the personal attention of a small-town practice with the technology, resources, and breadth of a larger one.
