Katherine completed her Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree at the Alberta School of Business. She then went on to complete her Juris Doctorate at the University of Calgary.

Katherine is passionate about each community to which she is a member. As a law school student, she was nominated for Chair of Student Life and was featured as Spotlight Student of the Week by Law School Life and Beyond. As a former competitive athlete, Katherine’s competitive side continues through her client advocacy and yearly half marathons she competes in to raise money for selected charities across Canada. Katherine has also formerly served as Director on the Network of Empowered Women and has been invited to speak on several panels across Alberta. In the legal community, Katherine is currently a member of the Calgary Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association and Association of Women Lawyers.

Katherine has successfully appeared in the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. Katherine has also successfully represented clients through mediation, arbitration and other pre-trial stages. Katherine knows that no two clients are the same, so believes in finding a uniquely tailored approach to find the solution that best meets each client’s unique needs and goals. Katherine’s practice focuses in the areas of employment law and civil/commercial litigation.
